Dodgy science. Very disappointing.

To me it doesn't prove anything except that the study is meaningless.

How can you base all of the effects of warming on ten trees in Russia??

The sample is too small and the geography also is ridiculous, one location only.

I am not an expert on this but there must be other ways scientists have used to establish temperature over the centuries.

Briffa hid data for 10 years that would have exposed as cherry-picking the "hockey stick" graph used to support all the climate change legislation and taxes. Briffa is a key figure in the IPCC and a lead author on historical climate. He has been exposed as filtering data to support his pre-chosen conclusions. Whatever it is he was doing, it was not science.
