Day trading futures at the weekends

I didnt think you could . but apparently you can!

Not sure how many aussie brokers offer the service.
Might not be any . fx and spot gold wti and silver go till 7am saturday [8am DST]
and open again monday 7am [8am DST] but you will find low volume and little movement near these times. Perhaps you could consider trades lasting overnight. Thats what I do with Spot gold , oil fx.
London opens about 4pm Sydney time and volume / volatility increases further when NY opens at 10pm[11pm DST]. I like this method for a few reasons. I can enter the trade in the evening . many times getting my Stop loss to BE. Go to bed at about 11pm possibly already with trade closed. or leave trade on over night with a Take profit order on or not . Wake up at 6:30am and check trade. Move stop , close out trade etc while drinking morning coffee. Also has the advantage of me not getting in the way of a Good trade!!! Another advantage is that you are trading during the most volatile and high volume period where London overlaps NY while you sleep!
Also if trades are closed before NY close (7am Sydney Standard Time )you dont pay overnight swap/financing fees! check with your broker as they may work on london close.
Hope this helps.

Dubai sounds good, but IB don't offer data or trading for the ME. maybe I'll get a multibroker NT license at some point & look into it a bit more.

A better idea is to replay liquid markets and practice on the weekend;)

What He said!
Go into the markets unprepared ,and watch your money dissapear fast .
Go in semi-prepared and watch it dissapear a bit Slower.......
Cant tell you how valuable screen time is.
screen time on demo will show you how hard it is without losing real $.
Gives you an idea of what type of trader you might be and what timeframe suits you.
Test out strategies 50-100trades at a time and note market conditions during these.
This is work : treat it like a job.do the work
