Now I'm glad they went with it. Melbourne's experience shows this ain't the same virus as before and that even "ring of steel" lockdowns are harder to control.Added to that: many states will be slow tracking and premiers will be eating their words. The hard talk of "lockdowns" is over (who knows for how long though).Nsw has been relatively lucky so far. We had a lot go our way in one sense. Deaths so far have been low. I suspect the vaccine passports will be short lived and just used as a scare tactic. But we won't know till we start stripping away some of these police state rules. I just hope shops can restock before Christmas. It should be absolutely crazy on reopen.
