Well I have a personal interest in high rise arcitecture and all you guys have an interest in the resources boom ! so i thought Id put a face to where all our australian mining ores are being put to use.

Anyway thats just a few ones.

The asians certaintly love to go big!

The top photo is of the burj dubai in the emirates at the moment it has just surpassed the sears tower in height and will soon pass tapei 101 to become the worlds tallest. It is expected to reach nearly 900m tall.

hasn't another 'burj' tower been planned to even surpass the current one being constructed?

I rwad it during the week but cant find the link. All I remember is 1000m+ tall (they stated the tower currently being constructed was to be ~800m)

I'm very interested in this, its just amazing!
