Company, code, and description?

Ive been following the market for many years now, but Im still unsure of half the companies and their codes.

Do any of you guys know where I can find a book or website, that breifly lists the company, their code, and a quick description of what the company does? I had a book like this many years back when I first started trading, but it is way out of date now.

If anyone knows, would be a great help.

haha, should have checked the ASX before I asked. Ive been too limited in the companies Ive traded over the past several years I think (though they have done good by me), time to start looking at some more variety.

Might even consider this commodity sector which I have avoided like the plague since my first experiences in trading when it lost me nearly my entire small fortune.
