Commsec settlement dates

Has anyone noticed the inconsistency of the settlement dates lately? Before 3 working days was standard. But now they take 5 or 6 working days. Any one have an explanation?

Hmmm i dunno can anyone possibly fathom a way to blame it on the US sub-prime situation as that seems to be the root of all evil lately?

Pat, I haven't had any problems all settlements have been on time.

All mine have been OK, I would contact Comsec with written examples, it really is a HUGE no ! NO! to not settle T3.

have you been selling more than you have been buying?
or vice versa?
i called commsec up and they cancel each other out if they are done within a day or so of each other so if you been trading a lot that could be it?
