i remember about a natural sprinter ( got the genes from his mum )

the US offered him a scholarship after two runs at an Australian university , and he would have gone as well but the fine detail was they wanted him running/training not finishing his twin engineering degrees

so stayed in Australia but never did any more than occasional sprint down the track ( without fancy shoes and shorts and supplements )

how many more would have been lured by fame and money ?
