Camplify is one of Australia's leading peer-to-peer (P2P) digital marketplace platforms connecting recreational vehicle (RV) Owners to Hirers.

Camplify has built a platform that delivers a seamless and transparent experience for consumers and potential RV Hirers to connect with RV Owners and SMEs with a fleet of RVs. A wide variety of caravans and campervans are available on Camplify.

Camplify operates in the RV rental market. Camplify is an online platform and differs from a traditional RV rental agency as Camplify does not own or hold product inventory, or require physical retail outlets but acts as an intermediary to connect Owners and Hirers.

The characteristics of the Hirer and Owner demonstrate a growing community of customers who are likely to use P2P platforms such as Camplify. As at January 2021, there were approximately 741,000 RV registrations in Australia, indicating a substantial number of available RV assets that Camplify can potentially capture and make available for rent. Over the past 5 years since 2015, approximately 141,000 caravans have been added representing a 26.7% increase over this period.

During the year to September 2020, even with limited international tourists due to COVID-19, 40.7 million nights have been spent camping and at caravan parks by tourists in Australia, indicating a strong demand for domestic tourism.

It is anticipated that CHL will list on the ASX during May 2021.

Listed today ....

It is a campervan and motorhome sharing community focused on the Australia and UK markets.

Camplify listed having raised $11.5 million and reported its IPO was over four times oversubscribed with customers invited to buy shares in the IPO and strongly backing it.

It is also backed by one of the ASX’s few other caravan specialists, Apollo (ATL), which invested in the company back in 2017 and retains a 17.8 per cent stake today.

The Newcastle headquartered company wasted no time in giving shareholders the impression it would live up to its prospectus forecasts, upgrading them on its inaugural trading day.

It forecasted Gross Transaction Value of $27.8 million and revenue of $6.7 million but now expects these figures to be between $30 and $31.5 million and $7.3 and $7.6 million respectively.

Camplify credited the faster than expected recovery of travel and tourism in the UK as well as minimal impact of lockdowns in Australia on regional communities.

We have been delighted with the support and interest we have received throughout this process from a wide range of institutional and retail investors,” said CEO Justin Hales.

We will continue to focus on growing our business and to deliver on our purpose of helping connect RV owners with hirers looking to head on an RV adventure.”

There's many opportunities that slip through my processes. Here's another.

I own a motorhome and am considering hiring it out through Camplify. I also bought a parcel of shares when I first heard of it.
I thus have no choice but to tip it in the FCY 2022 Comp. This small-capitalised company will logically
be a fast expanding business in the current economy so this year should be stellar.
Presuming the share price will reach $6 by EOCY I will have more than doubled my investment, and it should augur well for my tip.

I also own a motorhome and I think the Camplify concept is quite good.

However, having seen how the people new to travelling mistreat their RVs I would never contemplate renting mine out through Camplify or anywhere else.

I must say I'm in a 50/50 frame of mind; it is quite a technologically advanced vehicle only just within my grasp and it is certainly worth a lot more than my parcel of shares.

A family member living in the NT says a big side hustle in the Territory is to own a RV and make it available through Camplify. Because they're on location, solutions can be found when things go wrong (recreational 4WD in the Top End, a breeze, you'd think). Also depending on the season, transporting vehicles South => North, and return, is one way to visit the rellies.
