I wish to transfer one share each from over 100 companies shares I own to another person - does anyone know if there's an alternative to filling out a separate ASX form for each transfer? (The reason for this is so the other person can apply for any capital raisings that might be offered.) I'm thinking it might be possible to attach a list of the stocks to the form or something. Thanks in advance!

Similar to the above's questioning, if I have a bunch of shares in my mothers name (bought back when I was under 18 and couldn't get a share account) how do I transfer the shares to my name? Will I have to pay CGT on the gains I have or will they rollover to me because they aren't really "sold" (similar to giving a property to a relative I guess??). Bit worried because I've been investing since I was 12 through my mother, and now it's a sizable sum (mostly due to good luck I'd say), and I don't want to pay CGT on all my profits, but I'd want it in my name because my mum pays the highest tax level. Any help would be appreciated.

You don't explain whether you want this done for NIL cost but I'm sure if you dropped into your local friendly broker they could certainly arrange a hassle free way of doing this.

Cheers

Well it's free to use the ASX transfer forms so free is my first preference.
I wouldn't think it's necessary to use a broker - why involve a middleman? (Unless it proves necessary of course.)

If they are issuersponsored shares then yes via the stock registry company as far as I am aware although I have only done broker sponsored costing me $50 per parcel which they did expeditiousily.
