After a 15 year break, I'm returning to an old hobby of trading in futures. I have been out of the market sooooo long that the world has changed re brokers - e.g. there weren't any online brokers around 15 years ago !
So; I would really appreciate any up-to-date thoughts/ recommendations you may have ... FYI I am based in Oz, and I mainly trade mid to long term positions on softs and currencies through the CBOT and Eurex; plus the derivatives on the ASX24. All I am after in a broker is execution - not advice):
1) Broker recommendations? (If possible, I'd prefer to stay with an Aussie outfit - but it is not a deal breaker)
2) For those traders who have been around awhile
; thoughts on online versus traditional broking from current brokers ?
