On Friday night around 8.30 southern suburbs of Brisbane copped real big hail, cricket ball size.

My car got 4 large dings, I had 3 roof tiles smash, luckily they were all over the eaves.

I heard on the news that Norman Park copped golf ball size hail.....well whoopy freakin doo.......I cant find anything on the news about our large hail.

When I went to the demo yard there was a long que of people wanting roof tiles, and I drove past at least 8 SES vehicles.

Had this happened in Sydney it would have made national news (1998)

Re: Brisbane - cricket ball size hail !

Sister in Surfers last year had her car belted by huge hail.
not insured.
When in Adelaide for Xmas I got a mobile dent removal company to fix the 52 dents, much like a hammer all over the roof and bonnet.

These guys were on the line at Mitsubishi removing small dents, and when laid off do a mobile service.

Man are they good.
All done in a day and $890.

Just a hint for those who think a crash repairer for this sort of damage is necessary.
Sis was quoted $4500.
