I detect a certain discontinuation in the posts on this forum.


Alcohol is a dreadful substance and for all except myself is to be avoided.

As are weed, ekkies. others and ice.

So post away.

But do not post when you are substance affected.

yeah i came home one night after a bender under the impression my FX scalping skills were awesome. the best lessons are always hardest learnt

as for blogs and forums, posting under the influence is always welcome on occasion, even if for nothing else than an insight into the posters true nature. and as long as it remains on occasion as seeing endless editing after the reply button has been hit is only amusing to a point.

also japanese culture encourages a man to get pissed once in a while so he may speak his mind without being shamed. i'm down for that so am always forgiving of the odd drunken rant.

so you want to offer some inspiration GG?

One night I took a short when drinking ( no stops in place ) then dozed off for what I thought was 5 minutes only to wakeup much later & glance at the black screen saver , so refreshed to see the chart had shot up heaps !
after the usual rants I noticed my profit/loss at the bottom was missing the minus sign some how I had hit the buy button earlier ..
 
Tells us all what you were drinking?
I like Darwin champers... Metho and Eno's..
 
I find a bottle of Soju to be an effective social lubricant at times.
 
6 o'clock is scotch o'clock at my place.....

consider any post made by me in the 23 hours after 6pm BUI (blogging under the influence)

though usually I am sober-ish for the 2 opening hours of NYSE.
 

Ha, that's gold! IG Markets sometimes puts in buy orders when i order sell orders. Damn nice to get something back
 
Perhaps a "Drunken Rant" thread should be started?
Must have a blood alcohol level of 0.1 to participate

Disclosure : i am in the process of getting pissed as a parrot at time of writing (where did that saying originate BTW? Never seen a pissed parrot!)

gg, here's a poster put out in 1919. I am not so sure that the men of that era would necessarily have agreed with your above suggestion.

It certainly is dreadful, especially with pizza, beer then scotch, very nasty but thankfully I threw the lot up at 4am.

Havent done that for years but I recommend it as a diet aid, I feel quite slim this morning.
