Greetings.
Totally brand new at this.
I have purchased around 8 Bitcoins and have noticed that they fluctuate wildly.
I then registered with Plus500 and found that they deal in Bitcoin/USD of which I purchased $500 worth of shares.
Are they a good short term investment? I seem to panic and sell at the wrong time. Can anyone suggest a Baby Steps plan on investing on shares?
I have around $5000 to play with once I get enough confidence.
Gratefully yours AL

al, bitcoin is highly speculative at this stage, and probably not the best thing for a beginner, its just hold and hope and no exit plan if all goes wrong, if you have about $5000 remember this, you have to manage your risk no matter what you invest in, say for instance if you have 5000 and have it at a broker, in cash, for trading shares with, only risk 1% of it per trade, ie buy a minimum number of shares (on asx its $500 value, first transaction), at a certain price level, then determine a lower level where you will sell, if the trade is losing money for you, that level should cost you no more than $50 value loss, so if this one trade goes wrong then you stil have $4950 ready to look for your next trade, which might make you money

With restrictions on banks and now payment systems I would of thought the chinese buying would have been very light . However after several very quite days fiatleek.com is now showing large amounts of yuan being spent on bitcoin and the bitcoins being remitted to China
