Best sentence in English for 2009 on ASF

I am presently sat down with Prof James Joyce from the University of Trieste Dept. of English judging the many beautiful sentences posted on the 2008 thread, but as he says Riverrunstosnotgreensea, and in that spirit I would ask ASF posters to post any gems they notice on ASF during 2009 on this thread. They need to be original sentences posted on any thread. No youtubes or plagiarisms.

The 2008 winner will be announced on that thread within the life of the crate of vino he so kindly brought with him.

The irony of this thread is the mauling of the English language apparent in the title. Surely the more elegant wording would be 'The best English sentence on the ASF in 2009'?

Not to say you are not a wordsmith of some repute GG. Your typical prose is a joy to read.
