Hi,

Im trying to find a software preferably free which will download a file from a specified URL and store it on my PC with the press of a button and replacing the old one.

For example i have found a site which links EOD date for each ASX indicie. ie.

http://www.database.com.au/CBA.txt
http://www.database.com.au/AMP.txt
http://www.database.com.au/SGB.txt
http://www.database.com.au/MCQ.txt
http://www.database.com.au/WOW.txt

I want to be able to setup these url on the software and with a press of a button be able to download those 5 files into a folder which will replace the old one?

Anything like that available out their?

Oh and possibly be able to have the option to rename the file name/extension to something chosen by you.

Search for 'wget', I believe it has been ported from unix and should do what you want.
