The private sector job market has effectively shut down.
Any growth out there is purely from government employees.

better slap on the lipstick and break out the fake tan so you can apply for Government jobs then ( use the pronouns , I me , and mine to avoid confusion )

And in another piece of data that fits the above chart, ANZ online job ads has fallen in each of the past 5 months, and in 8 out of the last 13.
And of course the wrong consensus forecasts were quite optimistic in their errors.
700 people gone from FMG as of today.
Things can go down the gurgler quite quickly, especially if people start having fears about their own financial security.

IMO it has to turn ugly in the next 12 months.
The elastic band is stretched as far as it can go, it has to snap soon.
