Guys this is my bragging thread. I'm fortunate enough to have tickets to Australia vs Brazil in Germany and will be cheering for Australia on behalf of all of us.

What I want to know is, does anyone seriously think Australia has a chance of winning this match?

They could try the same tactics used on the dutch in the friendly the other day. Just take out their best players, one at a time... but do it earlier in the match this time

brazil is just an overly talented team... anyone including the subs is good enough to be in the first eleven. i guess brazil's number one enemy is themselves... if the brazilians turn up (mentally) to play world cup standard against oz, i'm afraid the roos won't have a chance.

my guess? at least 3 nil to ja ja blings and gang. And at least one red (might be double yellow on one player) by the roos.

If Brazil only beat us by one goal I'll be stoked.

man I hate opening cerimonies(sp?) Would love it if some German guy just came out, declared the cup open and then rang a bell. Then game on. No dancing, no siging, just sports please

I think Australia could pull it off with brazil. If they go in as defensive they could really stand a chance.

Wow I was expecting everyone to say that its likely to be 6-0 or something like that. I guess its just like in the Olympics, the difference between the top athletes is only fractional, but the good guys consistently outperform the ones who are not as skilled!

Yes I think Aust. performs better against the better teams. They like the underdog status. It will be close.

Yeah someone was telling me all the Germans will be pulling for Australia because we are the underdog, that would be really great if they do! I'm thinking there's probably going to be plenty of Aussies there anyway!

Hope any other team than Brazil win the Cup.
