Good evening and welcome to the August 2016 stock tipping competition entry thread! :)

Get started today and get up to $600 free brokerage!

A quick recap of the rules for those not familiar with them:

1. Each entrant may choose one ASX listed stock. Options, warrants and deferred settlement shares are not permitted.

2. Stocks with a price of less than $0.01 are ineligible for the competition, as are stocks that are currently suspended from trading.

3. The winner is the entrant whose selected stock performs the best in percentage terms between August 1 and August 31.

4. The maximum number of entrants in the competition is 100.

The competition winner will receive $100. The second placegetter will win $50 and the third placegetter $25.

You have until midnight on Sunday, July 31 to enter. However, in practice, entries can be submitted until this thread is closed. No entries submitted after that can be accepted for any reason.

Please post your entries in this thread. Remember, once you have selected your stock, you CANNOT change it for any reason.

Best of luck to all entrants! :D

Please don't forget to post a brief reason explaining why you chose your competition entry. One or two sentences is enough (feel free to add a chart if your reason is TA based). If your entry is the same as the previous month and the reason for choosing it is the same then feel free to just post the same explanation again. Thank you!

FAR been tipping for a few years now - who knows!!

FGR ( First Graphite ) thanks Joe. Nearing production out of their mines in Sri Lanka and ready with their breakthrough graphene producing machines

I'll have to stick with Edencrete but I'll switch to TAS this month. Both EDE and TAS should take off again as the right news comes out. The Solomans are trying to talk up TAS, without success so far. Maybe it is the month it will happen.;)

Six days to go until August! Don't forget to get your competition entry in. :)

AHZ - Admedus - for another run in the competition.
Their recent quarterly numbers showed something of a turn around. If the market keeps the faith then a strong run to the next 3/4 2016 quarterly may materialize.

Thanks Joe!

VPC again thanks Joe.

Sticking with the disruptive eLearning technology cellar dweller.

1PG please Joe. I know it's screwed a lot of investors but surely it's worth more than 43 cents a share.

HXG please Joe..

The company is in advanced discussions with potential customers overseas... The share price increased %100 when they made this announcement in June but they haven't announced any confirmed deals yet.

SMX for me Joe.
Reasons - many.
New Management and share price has rock bottomed.
In addition look at NTA.

NSL please. I know it will do well as I just recently sold what I had.

BGS again this month thanks Joe.

Still waiting for scoping results.

DRM for me, thanks Joe.
The Quarterlies may have triggered some profit taking, but most of it was Old News, describing the state of affairs at the end of June. Similar to HGG in July, I reckon the sell-off brings us closer to support and the next bottom reversal.

POS - Poseidon Nickel thanks Joe
Somewhat forgotten with the improved price of nickel.
Some of POS's ground was that of the great Poseidon NL of 1969/70.

DKO : Dakota Minerals thanks Joe.
Another Lithium player
Capital raising all done, Sp may have bottomed.
Looking for a strong month ahead.

BOL thanks Joe.

There was some initial but fleeting demand for this stock during the week. I'm anticipating more next month as other engineering service companies have been in demand.
