Hi,

anyone know where you can find data (and preferably graphs as well) on ASX-traded equities? Keen to find some data going back quite a few years (i.e 5 years or so)....

Cheers

Hi,
Please note that the 'General Chat' board is for 'the discussion of all non-market related topics'.
That aside, one could obtain such information from a comsec account, or probably yahoo finance.

Try Incrediblecharts.com. There is a free version and you can set up lists for the stocks you want.

..just having a lot of fun on incrediblecharts... this is awesome!

very random question.... but do you know of any such sites/programs which give annotated stock price histories? like, charts with little notes along the ups and downs stating their caueses? e.g. "this is when 1st quarter profit outlooks improved" ... "this is the GFC" etc etc....

if so, that would be really cool! ..not sure if anything exists tho...

I am not aware of any chart software that incorporates reports, though i haved noticed some poster seem to be able to tack in comments on the charts they post here.

Another good site for daily data and reports is the ASX.

http://www.asx.com.au/index.htm

If you sign up to MyASX (it is free) you can also set up your watchlists in your MyASX a/c. The plus with this site is you have access to all the stock reports.

Also in Incredible Charts on the second line of tool bars there is a "Q" button (immediately under "Help" on the first line of tool bar). If you click this button it will open yahoo finance on the same stock as your chart.

That's awesome, do you know who?

Cool, I will definitely do this.

Also, for Aussie equities, it's "stockcode_ax". Can Incrediblecharts look up bonds, overseas equities and ETOs? If so, what're the suffixes for those (I'm guessing somethings other than "_ax") - is there a page which lists them all?
