Joe,
You can provide -choose a colour- option as it is for time.

Me, like those form –ain’t broke- corner can keep the current scheme and all will be happy.

The only improvement I'd like to see is the "new posts" and "search" links be available BELOW the last post of a thread to save me scrolling back up to the top of the page everytime. Perhaps just duplicate the entire bar.

thanks

Moses, try this little trick: In the bottom right of the footer, next to 'Archive' you will see a link named 'Top', just click on this and you will magically appear at the top of the page. May make things a little easier.

Thanks Joe I'd been looking for that as well - must be blind

Those who would like to see a change, what colours would you prefer?

I notice that the current vBulletin version already has this active.....(version 3.6.5) , its called skin style i think...

Im not sure if its as simple as updating to the current version or not but anyway
this may be a simple fix.....

Plan B - Am planning to upgrade to 3.6.5 soon so will look into additional skins. Still thinking about a possible change to the default style though, to give ASF a little more personality... something that will distinguish it a little from other default vbulletin forums. Whatever happens people will always be able to use this default style if they prefer.

Thanks joe

Sounds good.... Allthough i actually dont mind the way it is.

thanks Joe. And BIG THANK YOU for the forum, period!

No problem Moses... I'm very happy that you and other ASF members and visitors enjoy your time here.

Hi Joe Blow,

I'm happy the way things are. This is the best forum going around. As per other's comments, if it ain't broke why fix it.
DYOR

It's fine as it is IMO. But then there's plenty of other forums using the same software that do look basically the same in terms of colour etc so I can see the argument for making ASF look different.

But what colour would it be changed to? Blue is pretty easy on the eyes etc.

Colours don't matter, navigation could be improved by having more choices of threads on the Forums page

no probs with current.
cept maybe bowties are gonna be outta fashion one of these days
I'll rephrase that - just as long as we dont all have to wear bowties as well - I mean the stock market is better than the casino for a number of reasons
1. you dont lose outright - you can continue on till the 80th round if you want to, and by then you might get lucky
2. brokerage is a lot cheaper than casino advantage
3. you can gamble in your pyjamas

What is it that people like/dislike about the current colour scheme?

And for those who would like to see a change what direction would you like to see the site take in terms of colours?

Don't worry about layout too much right now... I'm interested in opinions on colours/brightness/contrast etc

Definitely looking for feedback.

I still say it aint broke. It's easy to read and easy on the eyes. What more do you need.

I have it on authority that reds, coppers and any metal colors are the current flavours in design.

sorry, but i love the colour scheme...
mainly cuase is neutral, easy on the eyes and hasn't got a high colour high contrast which can be seen from miles away and would probably stop me from being able to use it whilst i am at work!

So, no changes please...
