Seriously the only Victorian foundry I know is the famous Furphy's!Can you name the 'smith?
We will get our armoury from China. LolWe were watching an article on TV tonight about a small sized blacksmith/foundry/armaments maker.
This business is in Victoria and has the only giant stamp in the Southern hemisphere.
The company is not getting support from the Fed Govt to make armaments and is close to closing up shop.
To supply the armed forces where will the supply come from when it closes its doors.
The owner a third-generation blacksmith has stated that China is very interested in this colossal stamp, as there are very few in the world.
If they were to get hold of it would this then be akin to Pig Iron Bob (one Sir Robert Menzies) selling pig iron to the Japanese pre-WWII, and that material then coming back at the allies as armaments!!
Fired at us, or shipped in containers to us???We will get our armoury from China. Lol
Unfortunately, I can't recall the name of this bloke. but it is a pretty impressive set-up.Can you name the 'smith?
