Errrrrrr , ends up going up another buck fifty . Oh well i made a little bit better than nothing . Any tips ?thanks

Although i have achieved top prices in the past ( of the day and sometimes all year ) I also ended up with part-sold parcels and that can take all the profit out of the trade

But yes have had your result in the past several times was grabbing the profit better than not selling at all that is the big question

If you try to get the absolute best price when selling you end up paralysed.
Yes I’m thankful that I made 4 bucks on it

Yes , I waited patiently for a month to take the gain , what usually happens is it goes up at open & peaks but slowly tapers through the day , that’s why I jumped early . But then after realised aristocrat usually sits at a price once moving up or down .

Was a 10% beat on earnings , likely why it has some legs . If you want to get a better exit intraday you need a mechanical system that can be validated , being an EOD trader are you willing to do that work ?

I sold a Bear Call Credit spread at 49/51 (July) about noon time after the announcement. Price was $45. Price has risen a bit since but hoping volatility will go down over the next few days/weeks and the price will not rise anymore.
