Myself, I like Banana's ( get that way in the market sometimes ) but whats your favourite one...

How were the shapes determined, why not all the same colour?
Some from the ground up, Some from the trees down, Some just lying around on the planet

My biggest question is " where do seedless grapes come from " :bananasmi

Passionfruit ....... yum!

Yeah, I'm a fruit bat. :D

My favourite is Lychee, followed closely by Papaya, Strawberries Mango and Black Musket Grapes.

Black Sapote is one that I have only tried a couple of times, also called the Chocolate Pudding Fruit. It has as dark chocolate-brown flesh with a rich sweet and rather bland flavour.

I'm gonna have to try it again though, because apparently it can be enhanced by the addition of a little rum, vanilla or cream - the power of suggestion is great!

Comes from Mexico, and grows well at Cape Tribulation.

Seeing the title of this thread, I thought it was a follow up to the homosexuality thread ;)

I'm a big fan of passionfruit too, but also enjoy kiwifruit. Also, nothing better than a nice cool, sweet watermelon on a hot summers afternoon.

Can't beat a ripe mango.

Don't eat enough fruit - have to be in the mode.

The best all round fruit that I can eat most of the time is the banana.

Easy to hold, easy to peel and not messy (I dribble a lot with a mango!)

Re: Are you fruity

I'm with you Timmy. It's called maracuya here, a slightly different version to Australia - but even more yum!! :)

Now that sounds interesting ... mmmmmmmmmm.

& after all the controversial threads that we have had and are still having, this is a nice happy thread! :)

Go the passionfruit, yay!

That is easy as they are grown from cuttings but the question belongs to seedless watermelons, how can I grow them.

Planted watermelon seeds today. A little early but start them in a hot house and I'll get them early. Saved my own seed, couldn't do that with seedless ones.

There are so many to choose from that it is hard to pick one out. I ticked banana because I eat them every day. Most of the others like mango, lychee and a lot of the new tropical fruit that I grow are great but you can't eat them every day and not get sick of them. So banana wins.

I must be fruity, I was once described as a fruit cake job.

Hello,
Coffee ? The Coffee Bean is the fruit of the Coffee bush so I reckon it counts.

Go the Mango I say, best fruit during all seasons...... Messy, but the best flavour.....

Cheers
