Brothel prize a bit below the belt

A VICTORIAN strip bar has sparked outrage by rewarding the winner of its Saturday night poker tournament with a brothel voucher.
Alley Cat Hotel owner Fred Scharkosi says the prize has made it the busiest Texas hold 'em poker house in Geelong.
"Some venues offer a drink card or a chicken parma - ours is a free half-hour session at the local bordello," Mr Scharkosi said.
Family groups are disgusted.
"We are seriously disappointed that a local business thinks that a brothel voucher is an appropriate prize to hand out in a public venue," Australian Family Association president Angela Conway said.
The tournaments are linked to the National Poker League competition.
It said it would encourage the hotel to change its prizes.
We sell ourselves to those overseas as larrikins, open minded and tolerant ... but are Aussie really just a bunch of prudes?

The story had me in stitches and didn't offend me in the slightest. I know 'family groups' is a euphemism for fundamentalist christians but was just wondering what the mainstream of Australia thinks of this?
Are you offended, or did it give you a chuckle?
English? Prudes? LOLMaybe its the English in us?
