Good morning everyone and welcome to the April 2018 stock tipping competition entry thread! :)

This month's competition is proudly sponsored by Pepperstone - The World's Leading Forex Broker.

Pepperstone is an Online Forex (FX) Trading Broker, providing traders across the globe with cutting edge forex trading technology to offer unmatched top tier liquidity, institutional grade spreads and the security of tight financial regulation. Pepperstone offers online forex trading through multiple forex trading platforms, including Metatrader 4, Webtrader and Apps for iPhone and Android.

A quick recap of the rules for those not familiar with them:

1. Each entrant may choose one ASX listed stock. Options, warrants and deferred settlement shares are not permitted.

2. Stocks with a price of less than $0.01 are ineligible for the competition, as are stocks that are currently suspended from trading.

3. The winner is the entrant whose selected stock performs the best in percentage terms between April 1 and April 30.

4. The maximum number of entrants in the competition is 100.

The competition winner will receive $100. The second placegetter will win $50 and the third placegetter $25.

You have until midnight on Friday, March 31 to enter. However, in practice, entries can be submitted until this thread is closed. No entries submitted after that can be accepted for any reason.

Please post your entries in this thread. Remember, once you have selected your stock, you CANNOT change it for any reason.

Best of luck to all entrants! :D

Please don't forget to post a brief reason explaining why you chose your competition entry. One or two sentences is enough (feel free to add a chart if your reason is TA based). If your entry is the same as the previous month and the reason for choosing it is the same then feel free to just post the same explanation again. Thank you! :)

SFI for me Joe.
Pretty spooky for choosing Spook Fish
It is speculative but I thought market cap is too small compared to its nearest competitor NEA meaning a little up will give me strike on the tipping.
Connection with Urbis Pro is just beginning.
Probably I should have waited and put the tip for May/June tipping - who knows

VIV thanks Joe.

VIV owns 33% of "NewCO2Fuels", an Israeli start-up company that is now commercialising an innovative system to profitably produce fuels from CO2 and water, using renewable high temperature heat from solar or excess heat from industry. A $1 Trillion+ accessible market, with a $24Bn market in the steel and gasification industries alone.

AVB thanks Joe. Copper developer in Brazil, recently acquired a gold mine which is looking promising.

Iggy

COB thanks Joe. This spun out wannabe cobalt producer just had LG Chem arrive at the party which could provide more speccy upside.

OSL Oncosil Medical again, please Joe.
No particular reason, other than my theory that seeing as some biotechs get their day in the sun, it might be Oncosil's turn ...one day. (Not holding at present).
Thanks,
P

WEC White Energy Limited, thanks Joe

This has been a big headache of a stock and among the very worse performers in all respects in Australia and beyond. Disaster has followed disaster and in court since November 2011 and still there as Arbitration drags on and on in Singapore. $1,000.00 invested in 2010 at the peak is now worth just $14.50. The company is in a terrible state.

Can things turn, well, they cant get much worse surely.

TNG thanks Joe, Looking to a few boxes getting ticked this month. CLC approval...mine license and possible ti02 off take. NPV 4.9bil and M/C of 140mil.

RNT thanks Joe.

Probably not much movement until the quarterly at month's end, which might give it a tickle if b/e cashflow looking good for mid-year.

Broken Hill Prospecting (BPL) please. It's been having a good run this year and I think there is plenty of potential for further share price gains.

CXO thanks, last time it was tipped it went airborne :)

SPL
Dropped back but will take off again ( I think).

LSR.PNG LSR please Joe.
I like the breakout of sideways consolidation, with increased volume.
