Hi,
Has anyone used http://thinkminc.com.au/ ?

I've been looking at both http://thinkminc.com.au/ and http://www.morrisonsecurities.com/ . For possible options trading in the future.

The reason I've been looking at Minc is because it won't charge me IRESS fee's if I don't use it. Does anyone have experience with Morrison Securities? It looks like on the application one needs to be charged for either webIRESS or htmlIRESS. However, I cannot find anything to suggest that there is a fee for webIRESS. It just suggests one is required to need $5000 in the account and 1 trade. However, what does it charge me if I don't do 1 trade.

I do like the idea of having my own bank account with Minc rather than putting money into a Trust Account (unless I wanted to pay more per trade).

Should I be considering other brokers?
Ideally I'd be looking for low fees and low minimum deposit as this is more of a readiness thing than active trading.

Thanks.

never heard of Minc, until I received a call this morning from one of their competitors.
Apparently there is an article about Minc in today's SMH.

can't find the article - DYOR

Morrisons I know; if I remember correctly, they executed AOT Online orders (unless that was Berndale)

... and in news just out, MDS Financial has bought the entire broking business, minus debt and liabilities. That'll boost MDS' client base.
Maybe we even get a few more traders using the Market Analyser :)
