Any opera lovers here?

I'd just like to pay tribute to Dame Joan Sutherland, who died in Switzerland yesterday.

I count myself lucky to have heard her live some half a dozen times, the first one at the first "Opera in the Domain", also known as Opera in the Rain, in Sydney in 1982. A dedicated and uncompromising perfectionist and a spine-tingling singer of glorious music.
