I'm getting tired of 1 hour commutes every morning.... increasing times to see a doctor.... budget blow-outs....Anna Bligh and her ever failing cabinet - Paul Lucas, Judy Spence, and the worst of all ... Stephen Robinson. Paul Newman was the only one committed to tackling Brisbane's traffic woes. I know "Borg" may not be the best alternative however I rekon it's time for change... oh yea kick out Morris Lemma too... Sorry just wanted to have a winge feel free to join in if you feel the same

I prefer Anna Bligh to Peter Beattie but she needs to get rid of some of her colleagues, Stephen Robertson in particular. What is it with this bloke?
He consistently denies problems and refuses to take any responsibility.
Qld has had a succession of incompetent Health Ministers, viz Wendy whatever (can't remember her name now), the hapless Gordon Nuttall, and now the dopey Mr Robertson. Surely there are more capable people out there.

I agree but when you're talking about a sinking ship:
1. who would want to be the captain
2. no leader would sacrifice a competent minister

The sooner all major infrastructure, especially health, becomes Federal the better.

If the Government was a company the middle management would have been ironed out years ago.

 
I've a brother who's now in the higher ranks of the Housing department for Qld Govt after nearly 30 years of service. He believes it took 2 days for the name of "captain Bligh" to start circulating.

I can't really reveal here, but some very impressive and tough calls have been made in Qld Housing to help the battling Queenslanders that may never get news coverage since "the Captain" got her sea legs, so to speak.

Didn't like Beattie at all, Bligh is more likeable (God knows who wouldn't be!) but lets face it, up here in Qld, it is well overdue for a change.

Couldn't agree more with previous comments about Qld health ministers, a hapless collection if ever there was one. Let alone our treasurer who looks like he is just out of high school.

Time for a mutiny, Captain Bligh...........Go the Borg, resistance is futile (I hope!)
 
Don't know much about her policies, but she is the hottest Premier in Australia.
 

Bligh is a good Premier but she has had some dopes in cabinet, and still more scandals to come from Queensland Health. Queensland has had more ministers for health than any state in Australia.

To go off at a tangent; our UK housing minister causes a stirring in the loins of quite a few.

To me, knowing than Crash Gordon has probably laid his disgusting lips on her cheek at some point, is a major turn off. But as politicians go, far more aesthetically pleasing than the majority. :
