An Emotional Poll....

After todays stunning All Ords opening performance, I'm

  • Crying buckets of blood as my SP's dwindle.....

    Votes: 10 22.2%
  • Sitting back with a cold tinny in hand, watching the ebb & flow for opportunities

    Votes: 27 60.0%
  • Larfing me head orf while counting wads of safe cash....

    Votes: 10 22.2%

  • Total voters
    45
  • Poll closed .
Bit Early for a cold tinny but Thats what I would be doing, so instead I'll have a hot coffee well till after midday anyway

I'd go for a further option:"getting used to it and shrugging your shoulders"!

At this point, I'm glad I sold before, during and into the bounce, but the market could just as easy be up 3% tomorrow after an emergency 5% rate drop in the US tonight making the Fed Rate -2%, and taking US earnings from money in the bank to minus 5.5% adjusted for inflation.

Like I said in another thread, we have entered The Twilight Zone. Anything is now possible.

eg SPI has just gone green.

Answer: None of the above.

I'm not normally a trader but the market has been too good not to trade. I have done more trades in the last two weeks than I have done for the last six months. Not much risk because I have only traded stocks I am prepared to hold long term if necessary. I just put in an order for a lot less than I think a share is worth. If I get it filled I put it back on the market at a mark up of >10% and if it sells I put in an order again for the original number plus 10% ( less brokerage).

I assume a carafe of Shiraz-Grenache is still acceptable under the "cold-tinnie" option?

Hey AJ !!
lol
you gotta leave the option of "other"
I mean One can be crying buckets of blood, but watching things improve yes ? half empty, half full, twice as big as necessary etc
(at least in your mind lol)

And I just said to my friend this morning: Now that it has shot up so much, it's time to short for the day. Hell, I never knew I could be so right.
