AMA - trading and ops, banks and funds

Been 10 plus years since I posted here. I possibly learned more posting here than any other resource outside of work. In the last 10 years plus, I have traded from my own account (still do), and spent a small amount of time working as an FX dealer, but have mainly worked in operations in banks and funds, which I love. I currently work in operations in a pension fund in London that is quite small, but quite large on the world stage, even though largely unheard of. I have worked very closely with front office in a number of roles and have had the chance to see a large part of what they do, how and why. My expertise is nearly all trading products outside of equities, which I have had next to 0 experience with. I would have loved to have had the experience I have now 10 years ago, when starting out.
