I follow Annabel Crabbs Kitchen Cabinet series with interest. It might look "lightweight" but one can see how she is angling to get interviewees to be authentic perhaps even genuine.
The Guardian noted that Annabel was not impressed with a particular critique of her interviewing. Her response offered a great insight into what she achieves with the particular interviewing technique. Well worth a read . The response is in the second URL

Thanks for the link to the article about Stan darkening his skin and the questions regarding Lidia's % Aboriginality. I think Stan has either darkened his skin, or he made it lighter in his early days, but it's absolutely 100% changed over time. Maybe it's a medical condition? Lidia is about 8% Aboriginal.
