There's quite a large community of Aussies doing quite well for themselves (and others!) here in London. Australia is at the forefront of a lot of things in the finance world -superannuation, insurance and financial regulation, so it's not a surprise that financial professionals are excelling on the global stage.

I'll have to go a buy a copy, to read the full article. I wonder if any of them started trading their own money, as opposed to being salaried/bonused to trade OPM. I'm always more impressed with the former.

I reckon most Hedge Fund start up entrepreneurs would trade their own money.

Guys like this, I am unsure, but I imagine they would have traded their own money quite a bit at sometime in their career.
