@mullokintyre Stick with it Mick, one giant learning curve right in the middle of the Festive Season!!!Sorry @debtfree , should have taken 39 seconds.
It brings in to question perhaps I need to think about the rules.
Do these rules of total turnover and price apply at the time of posting, or at the close of business on Jan 12th when the comp officially starts? I f a chosen stock tanks below 10 cents before the close of the ASX on jan 12, do they get excluded?
Decisions decisions.
Which option will benefit me most?
And having stated that if you post before Dec 12, participants are allowed one change bore Jan 12, does a forced change such as has occurred here disqualify me from making a change?
More decisions.
And I just realised that in my haste to decide to exclude dividends, a participant would better their chances by not including anything that had dividends, just relied on capital Gain.
So what did I pick, WBC and COL which both have healthy dividends!
I had no idea it was going to become so Complicated!
So my amended list will include ASM as my fourth pick giving me
WBC
COL
ALK
ASM
Phew!
Mick
@Sdajii As I read it. Post all 4 by tonight and there is the option of a single change before Jan 13. No other changes apply.I'm puzzled about the rules. Entries are open until January 13, but there's a bonus if you get in before the end of December 31 in that you can change one but only one of your stocks before January 12?
So, I can get in today allowing me to change just one, or I can change all of them until the end by not entering until the end.
Am I reading this correctly? What's the bonus?

@mullokintyre No change for me with my picks Mick.I was just trying to make my life a little easier.
Ordinarily, Once a participant has announced their picks, there would be no change.
The idea was that we get the entries in early by allowing participants to who did so to make one change.
That way i did not have to wait till the Jan 12 deadline to get some of the data entered.
You can make your picks and keep changing them yourself as long as you don't announce them.
I had hoped to keep the rules as flexible as possible to encourage as many entrants as possible to play the game.
