Surprised there is no thread for this yet!

Australia v England on Sunday morning should be an awesome game. How sweet it would be to knock England out of their home tournament.

Looking forward to this more than the AFL and NRL grand finals!

Yep, I have watched nearly all the pool games so far - being in europe makes it more pleasant with the timing!

Its a huge game tonite, the soap dodgers are playing for their future in the tournamant they are hosting, it will be a massive battle.

Will feel like poetic justice if the wobblies get up after losing the 2003 final at home.

The progress of the 'minnows' has been the most memorable aspect of this RWC.

Great win by the Wallabies.

England looked very strong for a lot of the match and often the score line flattered Australia. In the end, a strong Aussie scrum and faultless kicking from Foley did the job.

Despite playing really well against Australia and Wales, England are now out of the tournament. One team was always going to be unlucky in the "pool of death".

Awesome display by the Wallabies last night. They certainly proved that they have the toughness to defend their line when the odds are against them.

A long way to go, but this world cup is looking promising

We don't want to take Scotland too lightly, but good to come up against them in the QF when we have some injuries.

Wales vs South Africa should be a great QF next week!

All Blacks still the favourites, however, they haven't played anyone serious yet and are still making a ton of handling errors...

Yep, we won, once again Foley's boot saving the day - whudda thunk?!

Another game with a largely dominant wallaby scrum too.

Fantastic defensive effort with 13 men on the field, cant remember a test match where a team held out another tier 1 nation for nearly 10 minutes with 2 men warming the pine.

Couple of injury worries and a potential citing for a kneeing by Pocock, but we are one step closer!

I agree AB's still firm favourites, but we have warmed to the task at hand nicely!

We got out of gaol last night! Some bad mistakes nearly gifted Scotland a spot in the semi finals.

I saw the All blacks v France and the ABs looked awesome. The wallabies have some work to do to get to that level.

On the plus side, if its a Wallaby vs All Blacks final we will definitely be the underdogs!

Let's hope the Wallabies remember the last time around when the kiwis barracked for Ireland. Those south pacific poms never did play fair,...

....I still recall the cricket incident when Trevor Chappell, suffering a sore arm was forced to bowl on in great pain to Brian McKechnie who, as it turns out, couldn't give a half paced rolling ball a decent hit.......what did the Kiwi's do but whiney up and complain like an Englishman in a German Pub about they woz robbed!

Got to get past a very good Puma's side first, they looked nearly as good as an AB's side against Ireland.

Don't forget they will get Pocock and Folau back in for Sundays game so all is not lost just yet and hopefully Sio elbow is OK but agreed the Pumas are playing a running and wide game which they usually do not play. They usually rely on the forwards to crush and maul down the centre and barge over for a try. The Wallabies will need to be pumped to beat them and just pressure the hell out of the flanks so they can't get any run.

The Pumas smashed their way over the advantage line against the Irish, before putting the ball thru the hands and out to their backs. Make no mistake, this is not the Pumas of old!

They have looked the next best team after the AB's in this RWC, we will have to have a mighty game to beat them.

I expect the AB's to win tonight, but it will be interesting to see how hard the Springboks make them work for it.

Springboks are a big, physical team and I think they'll take it to the AB's. Hoping for a very entertaining match up.

Regardless of the result next weekend, this has been a fantastic World Cup for the Wallabies. Hats off to Michael Cheika for what he has achieved with the squad.

We were deserved winners last night scoring 4 tries and keeping our line intact against the Pumas. Nevertheless, it was a tense affair, with penalties and some nice attack giving the Pumas opportunities to win right up until the last five minutes.

The number of penalties we conceded was a worry, but some of them seemed undeserved. Interestingly, the AB's situation was similar against the Springboks.

Folau may have re-injured his ankle. He wasn't playing at his best again before he came off. For mine, Pocock is more important to the team. His contribution against the Pumas was huge again. Hopefully his injured calf has come through the game ok.

Foley's goal kicking is becoming a niggling worry for me. He was so strong in this department at the start of the cup, but has been a bit wayward the last two games. If we are to have a chance against the ABs in the final, we need to take every point that is on offer with the boot.

Big thing for the Wallabies .... the worry of losing a match in England for the first time in World Cup history !!!

I'm not acquainted with the subtle nuances of the game , but I hope to heck we beat those darned egotistical Kiwis !

Nah, they are the other good guys! Yes, it would be great if we win, and become the first country to win 3 RWC's, but if we lose our second favourite team win, and regardless the RWC stays where it belongs - Australasia!

I guess that's fair. At least we gave a bloody nose to the dreaded Poms !

Oh so true! Some amout of revenge for the travesty of 2003 & 2007. Any time we beat the Poms is a bonus, to put them out of the RWC they were hosting was the icing on the cake!

The All Blacks have won the 2015 Rugby World Cup.
