A hardcore miner with working experience in operating and consulting companies in Australia, Canada, USA, Peru, Madagascar and India.
Commodities worked with Iron, Steel, Copper, Gold, Alumina, Bauxite, Nickel, Cobalt, Uranium, Molybdenum, Coal, Limestone, Mineral Sands.
Other than mining, have spent a good 4.5 years with a large local government as its inaugural contract manager. Seen some real hard work behind the scene and also met a corrupt CEO who just saved going to jail and reportedly opened a hair cutting saloon in Sydney.
Visited and worked in many areas of Australia: Melbourne, Leonora, Kalgoorlie, Perth, Weipa, Rockhampton and Brisbane. Still not worked in NT, NSW or Tasmania- a lot to see and do.
My fun time beyond work includes voluntary community services - Engineers Australia, Indian Society of WA and some arts and cultural initiatives for the next generation. Enjoy Garden as fun too.
Comes from Perth, WA and happily married for more than 33 years with two grown-up children.
Professionally an engineer backed up by MBA (Finance and Marketing) and Maintenance Management.
Can speak four languages including English. Still learning to speak Australian however living for 27 years in Australia.
My favourite team is India and then Australia not playing against India. My soccer team is Brazil. Do not understand Footy but do support Docker.
