Trump Era 2025-2029 : Stock and Economic Comment

...and hence the billions of USD poured into TSMC's fab expansion and building a third one in Arizona and this from Taipei Times 12 Jan 2025 reads in part. I would hazard a guess that the US of A desperately wants the chips to be all built on it's own soil thus, not having to defend (or even...

    Market Crash 2025

Hmm, if orange man doesn't oust him beforehand. From here and reads in part: No doubt JD is trying his hardest to stay in the good books as per the current India visit:

    Market Crash 2025

With all that is going on in this new Trumpian world, I can't help but think of Carl Sagan's Pale Blue Dot: A Vision of the Human Future in Space. Within he writes the following (my bolds):

    Market manipulation

Well the biggest grifter, that orange man in the white house, sure knows how to manipulate the markets, all of them. So-much-so that due to his tariffs and causing heavy multi-day loses/falls on the world's markets he posted, "THIS IS A GREAT TIME TO BUY!!! DJT". That one liner was posted...

    China on our doorstep

My bolds. The Chinese controlled industrial "parks" in Indonesia are a case in point. "Dirty nickel" anyone? Polluting and poisoning the fisheries and environment, neglecting worker safety, destroying rain forests and ecosystems and worse, practising genocide and violating human rights et all...

Trump Era 2025-2029 : Stock and Economic Comment

Just my :2twocents Trump, without firing a shot, certainly knows how to declare war (on everyone) and I'm sure he's quite chuffed that his pen, is mightier than any sword. I'd also hazzard a guess that under the tariff guise, there are many motives and moves to get the US of A out of the debt...

Eggs - a Livestock and Meat commodity

UPDATE At Coles today bought doz. Blewitt Springs brand 800g eggs costing $8.30. Yay, 100g more and a buck less than the last 700g doz. Could this be the turnaround in egg prices? Time will tell.

    Security of Super Funds

Your humourous glib is noted @divs4ever More seriously, I'd like to know what our officials (elected or otherwise) plan to do about these ever increasing bad actor threat. Here's a free, veiwable Google spreadsheet of APT's (Advanced Persistent Threat) groups and operations, I've linked the...

Trump Era 2025-2029 : Stock and Economic Comment

Found this on YT from CBC/Andrew Chang. His final comment on how the US of A tariff's where calculated sums it all up, "I don't know what logic explains that." The bizarre way Trump’s team calculated reciprocal tariffs

    Security of Super Funds

With Australians having one of the highest rates of super... Australia soon to be second in world for retirement savings as superannuation pool soars ... is it any wonder the cybercrims want a piece of that pie? Australian superannuation funds hit by cyber attacks, with members' money stolen

    CANZUK

From what I understand radio waves travel at approx. the speed of light but rightly so, no much of a warning but a warning just the same.

    CANZUK

Thanks for the replies and yes, tariffs have and will be around for a long time to come. However, even though the focus of CANZUK is primarily free trade, I find it interesting that the "old empire" still resonants thus my thinking is that thanks to Trumpenomics (1st and 2nd terms), I can't...
