Is this the end of the Birthers?

President Obama has released the long form of his birth certificate which shows he was born in Hawaii. But will this actually make any difference to the millions of people who will not accept him as President and have constructed a story that denies his right to be President? And at what stage (if ever) will senior politicans in the Republican party say flat out "this conversation is over" ?

It was interesting to read the website of the Birthers to get a idea of what is being used as political argument in America.

It probably puts paid to his birth being an issue, except for the most extreme of nutters. But the run of the mill Birther will clutch at new straws. Trump is already focussing in on Obama's college qualifications and some are raising issues over the fact his religion was not listed on the long form just released.

If the Republicans can't come up with a credible candidate, Obama will be there for another four years. I doubt if America could recover from that.

Couldn't have said it better.. But I reckon the Birthers will keep talking about "natural born " Americans and destroy any chance to actually discuss how America can get out of its mess.

What a non-issue. Some of the things Trump have said are amazing. Blatantly talking about going in and taking the oil... I'd love a honest president that doesn't deny that, but wow, what a disaster that would be.
