Pauline Hanson is emigrating to the UK!

Apparently she is going to open a curry joint in Londistan, on the principle that if you can't beat'em - join'em.

Hey Garpal,

It's all starting to make sense now! Pauline hanson must have some links to Bin Laden and must be going to the uk as an inital cover before going to Afganistan to train with the taliban. Her obvious talents of mgt of a polictical party and most importantly making fish and chips would hold her in good stead with Bin !!!

(to quote you)

"last satellite communication said "so long thanks for all the fish""

"I reckon hes doubled back to "Tank" as he likes fish and chips."

JUst to add i believe PH is going to be picked up from the airport in a Ford Galaxy mk2 2001 model !!!!!!!!

mi5 and the cia better get on to this one !!!!!!:p::p:

All Pauline ever did was put out in the public arena the thoughts of a majority of older australians. Not being a politition she was a little over the top but her policies wer taken up in the main by Howard and they kept him in office for a while (children overboard etc). She was demonised by the press and by Tony Abbott in particular. She was one of Australias few "political prisoners".

She bucked the "two party" government we have ( forget the greens and the democrats as they are only pseudo libs or labour). She showed up Abbott for the conniving twirp he is and Howard for his careless handling of the truth. Her type is needed occasionally to show "the other side".

It is a pity she got involved with the sidekicks she ended up with. It is a pity she was not an independant senator.

It is unfair to criticise her if the persons doing the criticism are not prepared to read her maiden speech to parliament IN FULL and not just the unrepresentative partial quotes of the press or her opposition.:2twocents

Does this economic policy sound familiar
"2% loans from the "people's bank" can be financed by simply printing more money"

Good riddance.:)

Very well put,nioka..I was one of the voters who helped get her in to parliament back in those heady days..although my vote was caste in haste and inattention...was horrified when i realised the principles I had endorsed!!

Time has shown her to be sincere ,but mis-guided.She was used by so many darker and more shadowier figures ,vilified by mainstream polies looking for an easy target to score points

At least she stuck her head up and was counted ...I hope she has a fruitfull life in the UK ..:)

As I understand it, Abbott has never fully disclosed his involvement in the campaign to discredit her, which led to her false imprisonment. Its a pity she doesn't stay to "Keep that bugger honest".

Nioka is right. I didn't like her, but admired her tenacity in the face of the big party political machine on both sides.

One of her biggest difficulties was her lack of education and her naivete.
Who will ever forget the "60 Minutes" interview when she said "please explain", when confronted with the term 'xenophobia'.
I felt she was unfairly pilloried for that. There would be many many Australians back then who were not familiar with the word.

She was also a target with her accent (though Julia Gillard's might be worse) and the way she dressed.

She made a lot of mistakes, but largely due imo to ignorance and naivete rather than any malicious or deceptive intent.
The biggest of these was not knowing when to quit. She became carried away with her initial success and didn't recognise when the public cooled towards her.

Her imprisonment was a disgrace. (Just consider how many violent offenders we have running round free). I hope she plans a quiet life away from any spotlight.

Isn't this what Obama is doing in the US at the moment. Zero official interest rate and printing money like a third world economy?

She took Australia back 20 years. Too busy sprouting about Asians and diseases in Africans.

As for her video, if I die - what a drama queen

I agree Nioka that she was the key to Howards policies

Maybe she will go cash in on the tax payers over there with the BNP

No one here is going to pay her way anymore.

After whinging and moaning for years about immigration, she becomes an immigrant. I hope she gets the same level of respect she gave immigrants to Australia.

I will give her some credit, despite all the mocking she copped at the time, her comments about just printing more money ended up to be waaaay ahead of the curve.
