I would like to see all polititicans, no matter what party they belong to Federal, Stae or Local Government, have regular monthly meetings with their constituents to seek their ideas and opinions on various topics affecting their area, themselves and thier families.
That is what they are paid for: it is unfortunate they have to follow party policies.
One never sees ANY OF THEM untill election time when they all make promises which they very rarely keep.
When things go wrong they all want to pass the buck.
How can Wayne Swan have the audacity to blame John Howard for the mess he has created with the economy of this country.
Whist we would have had to go into deficeit, I believe the Coalitions would not have so wasteful.
I won't be around to see it go into surplus. I pity my grandchilren and great grand children who have to bare the brunt for years to come.
