My favourite quote relative to this situation comes from Tyler Durden:
Prawn you have forgotten about Rules number 1 and 2
Your a liability to operation Mayhem
My favourite quote relative to this situation comes from Tyler Durden:
So I've made a 7.5 months past new year's resolution: From now on I refuse to argue about AGW, house prices, bear markets, or other future events that will or won't reveal themselves despite what I or anyone else says. I will be impressively happy and uncaring.
Yes!!!!well said WayneL... I actually made this similar vow at the start of the year... and tho i have put an odd comment in here or there... in general, when it comes to the such sort of discussions... its all rather pointless.
everyone is free to have their opinion... and good luck to you all. Its diversity of opinion that makes this world the beautiful, fascinating place it is.

For truly, tomorrow we all die, and you're a long time dead... and if the human race collectively wants to destroy itself, so be it, I'm going out in style...
...and with a smile.
Here, here!
Stockholm, mum and dad over from Aust, tabled booked for 19:30, in the sun, where we shall eat, drink, and be merry.
I was in Helsingborg a few weeks ago. Had dinner at 9pm (still sunny) in a nice little restaurant on the beach...
inner-yard
I hate this thread.
I'm on a fitness kick, and not drinking.
like playing a round of golf after dinner in Scotland magic9:22pm here in Stockholm, I'm in a little inner-yard at the hotel, no direct sunlight, and its still light enough to play cricket...alas, they don't play cricket here.
Oh wow! Cool as, wasn't Bunker Bar by any chance?
These long days are heaven. 9:22pm here in Stockholm, I'm in a little inner-yard at the hotel, no direct sunlight, and its still light enough to play cricket...alas, they don't play cricket here.
No I don't think it was bunker bar. I asked someone and they said it was barfota? I'm not sure, its about 900m North of the station.
I know a few people that work at pu ro at the marina.
Yep, "bare feet". Actually down IN the sand. Turns into a happening little bar later on in the evenings. If you hang a right where the Marina finishes and the promenade down to barfota begins I'm about 500 metres inland as the crow flies, just up the hill at the top of the ridge.
Ahhhhh!So true.
This realisation is also called the "mid life crisis".
Just thought I'd point out that there is a downside to eating, drinking and merriment.
I've just had a huge indulgent lunch, 4 pints od Kronenbourg 1664 (La Première Bière Française) and a whole block of Swiss chocolate; with the whole afternoon to come...
...and I can tell that the end will not be pretty. My stomach is protesting already. :bier:
