Amidst all the hyperbole over the death of the Saudi traitor Khashoggi, it appears to me that there is an incipient racism at work in the media against the Kingdom of Saud.

This chappie Khasshogi was quite willing for over 35 years to sup at the table of his betters and profit from it.

No wonder they were upset with him for working for the Washington Post a liberal rag.

He was offered passage back to the Kingdom but refused. An altercation ensued in which he lost 3 fingers and was dismembered by a Saudi hit team, according to the Turkish media.

He could have fallen on a broken ashtray.

His family have been arms dealers for generations and Dodi Fayed was a relative.

So I find it very, very difficult to muster a tear for this chap who found himself on the sharp side of the saber rather than the blunt.

The West should not cede control of Saudi influence to other players such as the Chinese and Russians.

MBS seems to have a good hand on Saudi, regional and international politics.

I mean Khasshogi was just a journalist. Millions have died from starvation and war since he fell off the coil.

Let's get real about this bloke.

Very provocative Mr Gumnut.

Abuse of power always bothers me.

Donald Trump is just a politician so someone should knock him off ?

I think not. Standards should be kept.

So Gumnuts, you are saying the murder is acceptable given the circumstances.

I don't like horses and people who like horses, so it is acceptable that I can kill you all.

Your thread and diatribe is not helping with the community of ASF.

While Khashoggi is not a liberal or much of a journalist, in fact, he was a Saudi apologist who curry favour with its princes and happened to bet on the wrong horse with the recent reshuffle... But there's no excuse for his murder Al.

News from Turkey, assuming we can believe that, was that he was tortured in the consulate. His fingers were chopped.. then the hit team really got to work on him, sawing him into pieces while he was still breathing. WTF?

But then some 10 million Yemeni are suffering the worst humanitarian crisis right now; on the verge of its biggest famine in a hundred years. So maybe in that context, selling what conscience they have for $110B this year is a really good price.

Rumpole , you have no experience of the world outside your comfortable 3 bedroom house in some enclave such as Murumbeena.

For those of us who have travelled this sort of accident happens all too often. Khassoghi was a traitor to his herd.

This has nothing to do with ASF you horse hater. I have a good mind to report you to the RSPCA. Khasshogi was a traitor and his family have lived off the fat of the Saud family for generations.

The finger chopping was a figurative exercise quite common in Islamic and Arab culture for those who write apparent mistruths.

So Luutzu, if what you are saying is correct, I don't know, not my area of knowledge, 1 life is only worth $11USD, assuming we are pricing the 10M Yemeni to the 110B$USD.

While I think that is just wrong our horse welding friend tends to think life is worth $0 of that life doesn't agree with their position.

On that note, I hate horses, so kill them all, they and the people that love them have no value or worth or if they do, I will equate them to the people of Yemeni, for every horse death, I will give $11USD.

For those they cannot understand this cryptic bull****, the person who posted this thread is a horse lover.

Fu--k me what has this to do with investing and shares?

Off with those horses legs, they are are traitors, in my mind.

Still cannot believe someone who is intelligent can accept murder as acceptable.

You silly people have obviously never read Shakespeare.

I occasionally give up on General Chat on ASF but not this time.

Khasshogi was a traitor.

He was an entitled Person of the Inner circle of the Saudi family for 35 years.

He got above his station.

He got his fingers and head chopped off.

End of story.

No need for snowflake Westerners to get involved.

Life is Red in Tooth and Claw.

Was he a Saudi ?
:roflmao:

Being a traitor to a disgusting regime would be rather honourable I would think. He therefore didn't deserve what he got and it should be a lesson to snowflakes that if you deal with devils you get melted in the process..

You Sirrah,

Are an example of one who transmits but does not receive.

Of course he was a fuckn Saudi you muppet.

Yemin has been bombed, droned and literally starved to death since 2013 [or there abouts].

Currently suffering from the largest cholera outbreak in history. The country's on the verge of famine. All the droning and bombings kinda put a stop to agriculture and all that... destruction of a port where some 90% of its imports and humanitarian aids comes in, total blockade, destruction of utilities and infrastructures etc.

Most of these didn't make it to the mainstream news though.

----

I think it has plenty to do with investing. Namely, money & morality; where do we draw the line with the companies we keep, the activities we encourage and profit from.

Technically he was more of an American than a Saudi.

If he's a Saudi, Trump and other geniuses leading the world wouldn't have such a hard time or cancelling them trips to go make some money.

My point exactly.

It's a bit like being a Pikey.

You are born a Pikey, you die a Pikey.

Same with Saudi's.

You are born a Saudi you die a Saudi.

https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2018...di-writer-missing-turkey-181007184026645.html

This sickening obituary of Khasshogi is written by Al-Jazeera who are hand in glove with the Muslim Brotherhood of Iran and their vassal states.

I thought I should post it to show the degree to which one man from the Middle East has died this month compared to the thousands of adult civilians and children who have died and been maimed by the forces of oppression.

What a kerfuffle.

gg

I have just been contacted by a supposed "body double" who assures me that Khasshogi died innocently, and that he was a proxy for his exit from the Turkish consulate.

As I am in the middle of a Texas Holdem game with a large buy in and even larger people of Middle Eastern background wandering about I have told him to F.O.

I will advise the members of ASF in the morning of his comments and my well being.

Who, Shakespeare you muppet ?.

:roflmao::roflmao:

Go away Gumnut , you are a disgrace to the human race if you think Kashoggi's murder is justifiable in any way.

Still I suppose you have generated a few posts on this otherwise moribund forum called General Chat.

Sorry for the late reply, Rumpole, I'm just back from a B n S which was shall I say more than pleasurable. I do love a bit of rough and tumble.

Your new found pity for Saudi millionaires and sycophants is admirable.

Firstly murder is never justifiable, which is what makes it such an act of definition, both by the perpetrator and the State.

Unfortunately we are dealing with Turkey and Saudi Arabia which rather dims the wisdom of Lord Denning who I am proud to have appeared before.

So from a judicial point of view matters are in abeyance.

I do resent your attack on Aussie Stock Forums.

It would appear that you are discomfited by civilised debate on the General Chat Forum.

So be it.

You, Sir Rumpole, are a Lord of the Ring.

Do not pleasure yourself too much by my continence on your bereft posts on a stock forum.

I said you would be a disgrace IF you thought Kashoggi's murder was justifiable.

You seemed to have backed away from that which is a credit to you.

If you start calling people names, expect to get some back.
